The statement says they see no good reason to believe in God, but I would ask if there is really a good reason not too. I sure haven’t found one. And while atheists are not all hateful, evil, or angry, I have yet to meet one that can offer any form of real hope.
You may think those who believe in God are suckers, but what real advantage do those who don’t believe have?

As to inheritance, you should try and distinguish the various understandings of heaven and the eternities within Christianity before making such generalities. They don’t reflect everyone’s belief.

  2. THE INHERITANCE-BY STEVE FINNELL

All Christians are promised an inheritance, however, the inheritance can only be collected in heaven.

1 Peter 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

Peter said the inheritance is reserved in heaven, Christians need to go to heaven to collect their inheritance.

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are:immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The apostle Paul was addressing the Galatian Christians when he said, “You will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

CAN CHRISTIANS GO TO HEAVEN AND CLAIM THEIR INHERITANCE WITHOUT REPENTING?

It’s not an “inheritance” if the only alternative is to be forced to SUFFER a punishment FOREVER if you don’t accept it. What you and your christianity are offering is A THREAT… take it or you will suffer. No thanks Steve. We were tricked with this false choice in church when we were children. We won’t be tricked like that again.

One more thing, your “inheritance” is an EMPTY PROMISE of “after-life insurance”. It’s all invented to get gullible, willfully ignorant people to keep coming back to church and bringing more people in to be suckered like you let yourself be.
