I love reading stuff like this. It shows how much people truly read and who truly takes what people say as truth. To your understanding, God made Adam…..then after a time He created Eve. Correct? Ok….read Genesis…..on the 6th day He created man and woman in His own image. He didnt create Adam until after the 7th day. And a difference in the two is that, according to the Bible…..the “people” on the 6th day were created. Adam was created and breathed “the breath of life into and became a living soul”. I would need to research further to see exactly why it reads that way. But nowhere does it say Adam was here by himself first. It clearly states though that somebody was created on the 6th day. Both man and woman,,simultaneously. But their names werent Adam or Eve. This is where I think the people of Nod came from. Check for yourself though.

They came from the sixth day creation of man and woman containing all the races of people. Then God rested on the seventh, then adam and eve were the eighth day creation from which Christ our Lords geaneolog comes. When Noah took two of every flesh that included all of the races . And Noahs family which Christs genology comes. Thank you , Dino

  3. Adam was not the first man created upon the earth. God created man and female as well as the animals on day 6. Day 7 was sanctified by God which means set apart. (Gen2:3) after God sanctified ALL his work on day 7 he created adam from the dirt. then he created the animals again but this time from the dirt. why would God create the same animals again which he created on the 6th day. because the 7th day is special and set apart. take a look at genesis 1:27

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

the female on day 6 in gen 1:27 were not made of a rib and nor were the men made from dirt. that happened in Genesis 2 on the seventh day because they were set apart made special and is where the bloodline of the covenant is called.

if there were no peoples before adam how did cain marry a women in the land of nod after being exiled from the garden or eden? because Adam wasnt the first man created. first man was created on day 6 and adam was created on day 7. these two very distinct times of creation of man may fit the differences between neanderthals and homo sapiens

    Day 6 – Genesis 1:24-31:
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

    Day 7 – Genesis 2:19-25:
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Actually, the Bible doesn’t say anything about a people living in Nod. It says that Cain went to dwell in the land of Nod, and there he built a city, which would indicate that he was the first to settle int he land.

However, it doesn’t really matter. The Bible never says that Cain and Abel were the only children of Adam of Eve. Actually, in the very next chapter it declares that over the course of 930 years Adam had many sons and daughters (who each in turn had many sons and daughters), so there were many people around, and all were descended from Adam and Eve.

You taking that seriously is your whole problem.

    • AtheismDefended says:

Very nice apologetical tapdancing there. LOL The bible doesn’t say something so it means something else occurred? Man are you so delusional in that belief crap. When I was in your cult battling Atheists I still NEVER resorted to the nonsense you just spewed out. But regarding your bible which you defend, care to explain away the hundreds of thousands of errors, forgeries, deletions from the 5800+ manuscripts feeding the various bible translations. I’d love to see the dancing you’ll do over this. LOL

      • shematwater says:

Generally when a record doesn’t say a particular event happened it means that something else did. To say that the Bible says there was a people in Nod is to misquote the Bible.

As to everything you mention, I really couldn’t care less. Men are not the most perfect record keepers, and over the course of a few thousand years errors are bound to enter the text; whether this was accidental or purposely done I don’t know, nor do I care.

And also don’t really care to explain my faith to those whose only intention is to mock and ridicule, and so I will say no more at this time.

      • Al says:

Would you care to explain to me what these hundreds of thousand of errors , forgeries, and deletions are. I’m sure you have done a lot of research.

      • Jamel Salter says:

How right you are….evolving from animals sounds way more plausible

      • Jamel Salter says:

It is easy to assume from reading this that there were people already there when he arrived. As if it was this bustling city with a bunch of people when Cain got there. But it is quite possible that Cain was the original resident (which would not contradict the statement that he settled there) of NOD which eventually became populated…look up a figure of speech sometimes employed by historians called Prolepsis. Prolepsis is writing about something that has not happened as if it did already happen…i.e. “he was a dead man when he entered”. This we know, Cain went and settled among the people of NOD..ok. When did those people show up? There is no way to tell from reading the passage alone or by just taking a surface only view of it. Sometime just a little more research can make something seem more plausible than it did at first glance.

    • In other words incest, and period I might add.
