We atheists know the answer… prayer doesn’t work. What is taking you christians so long to figure that out too?

No matter how often prayers are said for you, or you pray, God doesn’t FORCE anyone to do anything. He doesn’t say, “Oh, someone prayed that so and so will believe in this religion? OKay! POOOF!” That’s not his nature. He put us here to choose for ourselves, not to have us forced to be good. Actions have consequences, good or bad, and what you choose has an effect on what is to come. All in all, though, I don’t care that you believe what you believe. I believe what I believe, and I deserve respect just as much as you do. Can we all just stop bashing on each other for once?

God doesn’t answer all prayer with a ‘Yes’. Sometimes, the answer is “Welcome to your consequence.”
