  1. As usual, Carl Sagan has it exactly backwards.

    The Ptolemaic Model of the universe was accepted science for centuries and centuries and worked well to explain planetary motion.

    Consequently, the Ptolemaic Model of the universe was hardly Kepler’s delusion.

    Unlike atheists who reject scientific prove that God exists and thus holding close their dearest delusions, Kepler simply followed the science and helped develop a new, more realistic model of the universe.

      And what “scientific proof” for god do atheists reject?
