During your 10 minutes of prayer…

During your 10 minutes of prayer: 114 children will starve to death, 23 children will be sold into slavery, 15 people will commit suicide, 13 people will be raped, 10 people will be murdered, 3 people will die in war.  So tell us again how effective prayer is???

  1. Debra says:

I didn’t see, and have never seen an atheist ” blame God” for the evil that men do.
How utterly absurd you are. Atheists don’t believe there is a god, you numbskull. How is it possible, then, for them to “blame” it?

Yes. Take your meds. And consult a dictionary or thesaurus if you’re unsure of the definition of words.

  2. DeltaV says:

“An Atheist knows that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An Atheist knows that a deed must be done instead of a prayer said. An Atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanquished, war eliminated. He wants man to understand and love man. He wants an ethical way of life. He knows that we cannot rely on a god nor channel action into prayer nor hope for an end to troubles in the hereafter. He knows that we are our brother’s keeper and keepers of our lives; that we are responsible persons, that the job is here and the time is now.”

Madalyn Murray (later O’Hair), preamble to Murray v. Curlett, April 27, 1961

  3. This is one of the staple atheist absurdities where God is blamed for the evil that men do.

Sadly, the atheist answer to the evil that men do is global warming.
