    The fable was written to say it took Moses 40 years to travel 290 miles… which works out to an average distance traveled per day of 105 FEET. I didn’t know about the mining/smelting/sculpture of a calf part in 40 days. That makes the fable even MORE fictional and absurd.

    It took Moses 10 years to make that trip? This is what happens when, typical of men, they don’t ask for directions! There is also that situation of Moses going up on Mt. Sinai for his “meditation” to talk with God. in 40 days, “his people” had time to start a smelting process to mine, melt, and make a mold of a calf, and then find enough gold to actually manufacture a calf to worship? Find those people and put them in charge of the many US manufacturing companies!
